The 6-Micron Niobium-Ceramic Diaphragm.

At the heart of the NH60 is a technological marvel: an ultra-thin ceramic substrate, less than 5 microns thick, transformed through high-temperature magnetron sputtering. By depositing nanoscale layers of Niobium alloy onto the ceramic, we’ve created a translucent blue diaphragm that possesses incredible structural rigidity.

The diaphragm's structural design is controlled at the micrometer level. Even with all other parameters remaining identical, the diaphragm's structure undergoes subtle adjustments to achieve optimal sound performance under different design objectives.

By using ultra-fine, 27-micron wire from Daikoku, Japan, we increase the number of windings to achieve higher inductance. This naturally tames high-frequency "overshoot," resulting in a treble response that is remarkably smooth, liquid, and non-fatiguing.
Unlike common copper-clad aluminum, our pure copper conductors provide the superior conductivity and driving efficiency required to move the diaphragm with absolute authority.
